Obituary of Edith F. Vetter
Edith F. Vetter, age 80, of Covington, PA, died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Edith was born October 7, 1928 in Croydon, PA, a daughter of Clement V. and Edith (Strolley) Schade. She was the wife of Edwin Vetter, with whom she would have celebrated a 63rd wedding anniversary on October 19, 2009. Edith was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and also attended St. Pauls Episcopal Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, family genealogy, animals, gardening, word puzzles, reading and participating with the Red Hatters.
Edith is survived by her husband, Edwin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Bonita Vetter of Dubois, PA, Mark and Dawn Vetter of Arnot, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Sam Cooke of Mansfield, PA, Lori and Alfred Tice of W. Burlington, PA; 13 grandchildren, Adam, Marty, Kevin, Sonya, Aimee, Samantha, Jake, Marrie, Sarah, Nicole, Katarina, Brandon, and Micah; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and JoAnn Schade of Doylestown, PA, Francis and Beth Schade of Bucks Co., PA; a sister, Helen Moroz of MD. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Schade.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, E. Wellsboro St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the church with the Reverend Rowena Gibbons and the Reverend Canon Gregory P. Hinton officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Ediths memory to the Wellsboro SPCA, Rte. 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901. The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S.
