My thoughts and prayers go out to Ed and the family. I know that Edith will be greatly missed but that she will always be a part of you in your life.

Sweet Family, You are in my prayers as you go through such a difficult time. May the joy of your salvation be the assurance you have of the day when we will all meet in Heaven and see each other face to face again. And may God's grace grant you comfort as you miss Aunt Edie so much. My heart breaks with yours. Helen always said I should have been Edith's daughter! Reading through her biography makes me see why she said that. Gardening, reading, word puzzles, animals-- I smile at the thought. Long before she was our aunt she took us in and loved us. There are no better childhood memories than the weeks we spent at Aunt Edie's and Uncle Ed's in the summertime. I am eternally grateful to all of you. Miss you. Praying. Dei

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

As I sit here today ,recalling the memories of Edith, instilled in my mind and imprinted on my heart.I am carried back to my turmoiled youth.Edith often found herself confronted by the unloved and lost ,people and animals. She found an opening in her large heart ,already filled with many others, and tucked me into it.No matter how long the time that may have passed between us,I know I was always welcomed by her and my Dear Ex-Father -in-law,love you Pop.What warms me now is the thought that she is embraced by her beloved Mother whom she has missed so desperately since her passing.Edith never gave up on lost causes, truly a testament to the faith that sustained her through the many years of physical and emotional trials. So for me it was a pleasure to know her and an Honor to love her..............Karen Neely
