Obituary of David Kolar

David B. Kolar, age 82 of Mansfield, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. David was born October 30, 1941 in Harrisburg, PA, a son of Joseph and Mary (Lesnic) Kolar. He worked as an electrical power plant operator in the Marshall Islands and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. David is survived by his wife, Darlene (Young) Kolar; stepsons Gerald (Diane) Rusk of SD, and Steven (Lexi) Rusk of Huntingdon, PA; 6 step-grandchildren; 14 step-greatgrandchildren; and nieces Lisa Milos and Melinda Milos-Dale. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Kolar, and sisters Sena Auction and Georgette Milos. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
