We had the pleasure and delight to share many corners of the UK with Judie over the years. She always enjoyed taking part in the country, especially the tea rooms, stately homes and antiques shops. She became part of our family. Sharing a Christmas with us, and just rolling along with what ever delights came her way. We particularly remember one very memorable evening in a Cornish inn, when Judie won two rounds of the pub quiz, despite having downed two pints of the strong local hard cider. I will always be grateful to her for teaching me more about lace and needlework than is decent for any gentleman to know. She was a special lady and we will miss her dearly. Paul and Pauline Hulme Cheshire England.

I just recently learned of Judie's illness & passing. I knew her from the "antique world". We have done several antique shows together over years. She was always so kind. A pleasure to talk to. I enjoyed hearing stories about her travels to England &the treasures she would return with. Truly a lovely individual. So sorry for the families' loss.

she was the best aunt I could ask for she came over for Christmas with her dog “violet” for every year of my life I am happy that I was able to say goodbye but I wish I had more time with her. She gave the best Christmas gifts in the world, the best gift of them all were her life she was beautiful stunning everything you could dream for, She died way too painful and to early, if I had more time with her I would try to give her the world. I love you aunt Judy I hope I meet you in the next life time.

So very sad to hear of Judy's passing. She was my art teacher in elementary school and inspired and encouraged me all that time. When I subbed for NTSD I had the honor of subbing for her a number of times. I was so proud to do so. She was a wonderful person and a true artist who shared her talent and herself with many students and those she cared about. I know she will be missed. My deepest sympathies to to all who loved her. Peace to you all.

This lady was responsible for instilling in me the love of art. I looked forward to that once a week visit to her art class when I attended RB Walter. Her kindness to all her students was unmatched as attempted to pull from us our artistic abilities. I never forgot her as I grew older and will always remember how good she was to me throughout my life. God rest your soul, Mrs. Mainus. You now have the best art room in the world. My condolences to her family and friends; God bless you all. Chris
