Johnny O:
I started in 1987 airport faculty. I met him there after I day. We clicked from that moment on for 34 yrs!!! We shared growing up in PA. He treated everyone the same. Kind and respective even in tough one-way conversation confrontations.
I went into customer service training years later. We briefly met at Owego NY for Singapore contract.
Need to pay personal respects to family help in PA when more information is provided.

From Jamie and Jessica We loved talking to John about his hobbies, achievements and life's experience. We enjoyed joking with him and seeing his eyes light up for his grandchildren. I always admired when he spoke fatherly to John jr. his facial expression showed it's ok kid you got this. At picnics and family gatherings Jamie and I would often sit with John and Cheryl exchanging couples stories and laughing, I will always adore his love for her. What a great loss, I'm so sorry. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all of us.

"Johnny O" was one of the good guys... (At Sikorsky, IYKYK) I have many memories of him from our days on the 53E program at the Airport, as well as in the following years. He was a true member of the Sikorsky family and was well respected at every level of the organisation. My condolences to the extended Ozelski family on this loss. He will be missed. Rest in peace, old friend...

Johnny O! a signature name for a one of a kind person. Everyone knew Johnny O and he knew everyone. the go to guy at Sikorsky to get things done. I remember when he "retired" and my manager called me up about a Program we were struggling with. He had one simple order for me, "Find Johnny O now". I did and John jumped right back in to straighten it all out. then We asked him again a few years later and he was right back at it!.. We spent a lot of time in Turkey together along with Owego. John, you were a good friend and I will miss you sorely. God Bless you Brother.

It’s sad to hear of the passing of another member of the original Wayne Hills crew, Having lived on the hill, my whole life, I knew John and the whole family, as well as everyone from the “corner “. John was a great guy who always had a smile & something funny to say whenever I saw him my prayers for the family.

During our younger days in White Hills, John Ozelski enjoyed running around “Indian Mountain” with his ‘gang’ of friends. His parent’s home was on the right edge and provided the ‘Dirt Road’ access to the area. I was his friend since the 1960’s & share these photos knowing he is at peace now. We called him Bobo, he was highly respected in our neighborhood ever since. We all miss him very much. I was known as 'Lil Ponch' a nick-name he gave me, ~60 years ago.

I had the pleasure to meet Johnny O when I started working at Sikorsky in 1978. Our professional relations developed into a friendship. We worked together in Stratford, the Airport, West Palm Beach and in Horseheads NY. We even served with the Shelton Fire Department, White Hills Co. 5 for years.
Debbie and I will miss our vacations together and many camping plans we shared. Although we live 1,100 miles apart I am going to miss the weekly FaceTimes you, Cheryl, Debbie and I would have.
Debbie and I would like to extend our sincere sympathies to Cheryl, John , Steven, Thomas and their families; you are in our thoughts and prayers.
