What a beautiful lady, Amy's smile is so genuine. I may not have known Amy, yet when I saw her story I felt compassion. I pray for the families and friends connected to the lives affected by the loss of Amy Sue Mattison Hairston.
God Bless ~

When I first met Amy she always held a special place in my heart, her love for family and her love for her nieces and nephews were irreplaceable. I will always cherish the times she would play with the kids, giving them 1.00; loved the joy the kids have. She would get right into the doll house and play with paeslee. How excited you were when we got married the joy on your face. Our family will never be the same. Sweet loving girl! We love you Amy Sue—love your brother and sister in law.

Amy was always smiling in school. She was everyone’s friend. Always kind and loved to joke. I went to school with Amy I only saw her a few times since we had graduated , but like always she seemed the same to me happy to see you and always asked how you had been and wanted to know what you where up to. And of coarse still smiling! I remember in 6th grade at the talent show she stood up on stage and sang her heart out,” Delta Dawn what’s that flower you had on” I can still hear her! She was a rock star that day!!I And Everyone cheering for as she stood up there smiling.. My thoughts are with her family and friends, she was way too young and I am so sorry for your loss!! Fly high Amy and sing on with the Angels as I know you’ve earned your wings.

I met Amy in 5th or 6th grade. What a sweet person. She always tried her hardest to be kind to everyone. She never let anyone take her joy for life. Peace be with you.
