Obituary of Leah M. Taylor
Leah M. Taylor, age 95, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on September 16, 1928, in Paxinos, PA, a daughter of Francis and Alma (Hinkel) Drumheller. Leah was married to the late Wayne Taylor who passed away in 1995. She had been a hairdresser and homemaker. Leah was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, pulling weeds, flowers, cooking, baking, visiting with company, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Leah is survived by her son, Lamar (Kim) Taylor of Lawrenceville, PA; four grandchildren, Crystal, Candy, Lauren, and Wade; 9 great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Gia, London, Finley, Cade, Ella, Jameson, and Creed; a brother, Ken (Doris) Drumheller of Paxinos, PA, and several nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jeanette Shiko a sister, Blanche Ernest of Catawisa, PA; and two brothers, Claude and Marlin Drumheller.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA, Viewing will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2023 from noon to 1 PM at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Intersection of Blue Church Rd and Airport Rd in Paxinos, PA. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1 PM at St. Peter's United Church of Christ Church in Paxinos, PA with Rev. Paul Gurba to officiate.
