Obituary of Richard Curtis Morse
Richard Curtis Morse, age 72, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 18, 1951 in Corning, NY, a son of Burrell and Mabel (Thrall) Morse. Richard worked for Corning, Inc. He was a member of Tioga County Early Days and Loyalsock Valley Antique Engine Association. Richard enjoyed tinkering on tractors and engines.
Richard is survived by his son, Jason (Jennifer) Morse of Lawrenceville, PA; a daughter, Tonya Morse of San Marcus, TX; three grandchildren, Caleb Morse, Austin Morse, and Kendal Ivarra; a brother, Burrell "Sonny" (Cindy) Morse of Lindley, NY; and four sisters, Patricia Osgood of Corning, NY, Carol (Vern) Porter of Painted Post, NY, Charlotte Houghtaling of Addison, NY, and Donna (Joe) Wood of NC. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney "Bud" Morse, and Gary "Butch" Morse.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10am-11am at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place in East Lawrence Cemetery in Lawrenceville, PA.
