I remember the last time I saw my grandpa I was still about 13 or 14 but it was the first time I had ever met him and little did I know it would be the last time I ever saw him again but I’m glad the last thing I got to do was see the real “grandpa” I knew he always was I softly said “bye grandpa” and without words he reached out and pulled me close for a tight hug that I will never forget and to this day I feel bad for his other grandchildren I was just fortunate enough to be the oldest and was able to meet him and spend time with him it might not have been for long but that week felt like a lifetime
