Obituary of Carol Fish
Carol Lynn (Hughes) Fish, age 67 of Lawrenceville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 23, 2022, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was born on February 9, 1955, in Troy, PA, the daughter of Howard and Lola (Henninger) Hughes. Carol was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. She retired from JC Penney and enjoyed cross stitch, shopping, crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol loved and welcomed everyone who walked through her door.
Carol is survived by her husband Jerome Fish Jr.; a son, Brent Coates of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Amy (Ryan) Plunkert of Tioga, PA; two grandchildren, Hayden and Sadie Plunkert; two step daughters, Carla Arevalo of Nashville, TN, and Meagan (Corey) Fussell of Thomaston, GA; a step son, Sean (Akhona) Fish of Williamsport, PA; two step grandchildren, Micah Fish, and Brayden Temple; three brothers, Carl (Ellen) Hughes of Tioga, PA, Dale (Gail) Hughes of Tioga, PA, and Bruce (Peggy) Hughes of Lawrenceville, PA; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 6 Broad St. Tioga, PA. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. with her lifelong friend, Pastor Debbie Button and Pastor Mike Denelsbeck officiating. In lieu of flowers, please give to a charity that speaks to your heart. Services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., 637 S.
