We are more than sad to just learn of Harry's passing. We were very good friends of his, meeting him when he was a ranger in Sproul Forest where we were most weekends. We had many hotdog cookouts, many stories, visits and phone calls, and laughter together. Harry was one of a kind, and one of the nicest people we have known. We will miss you. "Love you, Harry."

I met Harry walking his dog, Fern, at Hills Creek Lake 4 years ago. My four kids and I were at the bus stop when they spotted Fern and just had to go pet her. From that moment on we always looked forward to seeing Harry and Fern everyday at the bus stop. Each Christmas we would take cookies and dog treats to Harry's house. A beautiful friendship was built between us. Harry, Fern and Daisy will always have a special place in our hearts.

I knew Harry from when I volunteered at Animal Care Sanctuary Wellsboro. He was wonderful with all the animals there. I will always remember his kindness and gentle ways. So sorry he has passed. He will be missed.

Harry was a regular at the library here in Wellsboro, and he almost always had a joke to share or a funny story with me. I remember his interactions with me and other staff here with fondness. His visits will be sorely missed.

I met Harry at the Lakeside Trail at Hills Creek with this beloved companion, Daisy. I noticed his kind and loving patience as he waited for Daisy, being a senior dog, to move along. The two were so sweet together. Whenever I saw him, he was friendly and seemed so happy to be in nature. I will miss seeing them on the trail. RIP Harry.

Harry was a kind, gentle man who loved the dogs at our shelter. He visited faithfully several times a week to enjoy his time with our canines and they looked forward to seeing him. We lost a wonderful man this week.
