Obituary of Sandra J. Bennett-Ross
Sandra J. Bennett-Ross, age 71, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1950, in Montour Falls, NY, a daughter of Donald and Betty (Stradley) Bennett. Sandra was the wife of David Ross. She worked for Corning Inc. and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Sandra is survived by her husband; her father; three sons, Stephen "Jamie" Wheaton of GA, Jefferey (Hope) Wheaton of Addison, NY, and Bradley Brown of Auburn, NY; a daughter, Colleen (Ernest) Pozzi of Towanda, PA; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Lon (Bonnie) Bennett of AL, Cliff (Beth) Bennett of Corning, NY, Tim (Amy) Bennett of AL, David (Shelley) Bennett of FL, and Don Bennett of Elmira, NY; three sisters, Donna (Sonny) Warriner of Addison, NY, Dawn (Eddie Whalen) Harris of Lindley, NY and Cathy Bennett of PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Brett Brown (2021), and a daughter, Stacie Jo Brown (2001).
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life to be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M at the Addison American Legion Post 730, 85 Maple St., Addison, NY with Pastor Scott Towner speaking. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
