Obituary of John J. Polonia

John J. Polonia, age 39 of Wellsboro, PA, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. John was born September 30, 1968 in Johnstown, PA, a son of Guy and Louise (Mitchell) Polonia. John was the husband of Melissa (Torpy) Polonia. He graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1986 and was employed by BiLo Market in Wellsboro, PA for 22 years. John and his brothers enjoyed making horror movies. John is survived by his wife, Melissa; a son, Nicholas John Polonia, at home; his parents, Guy and Louise Polonia of Wellsboro, PA; brothers and sisters, Debra (Jim) Grove of Johnstown, PA, David (Tammy) Polonia of Concord, NH, Diana (John) Pagano of Wellsboro, PA, and his twin brother, Mark (Maria) Polonia of Wellsboro, PA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Mary Torpy of Middlebury Center, PA; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Krista) Torpy of Wellsboro, PA and Clifford Torpy at his parents home in Middlebury, PA; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 29, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home with Lay Minister Ellen Bartholomew officiating.
