Jean and Family: Loss of a loved one is very difficult emotionally. The loss never goes away; however, there will be signs he is thinking of you with dropping subtle hints he is not far away. It's all in God's plan, and be thankful we know God to have Him to lean on in difficult times.
Jean, I will always remember his laughter - it came from the ground up and just thinking about it, I smile.
There are many special memories of the times our families spent time together: barbecues, parties, camping, etc. Memories that are special to ones we shared.
Deb, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Daddy's girl is a special connection and one to treasure forever. You also have his quick ready smile with a special laugh that easily identifies your connection to him.
I pray your hearts will heal as the days, months, and years move forward. It doesn't get easier, it just gets less often of tears rolling when a memory comes to the forefront of your mind, which then comes in smiles to know there is a message in that awareness.
