Laurie and her nice family were some of the first people I met when I came to Pa. She was always so nice to me. I remember when she got her new job and left Dollar General. I really missed seeing her there and her great smile and her kindness. That was when we could take a minute just to chat. She used to always ask me if I wanted to round up my total to donate to some cause they were helping, lol ! I don't even like going there now. My heart breaks for her family. RIP Laurie ! You will be forever loved and missed by so many.

Laurie befriended me when I was the new kid in elementary school. I will never forget her kindness when I was so scared. Her smile could light up any dreary day. May she rest in peace and fly with the angels. May her family feel God's loving embrace during this difficult time.

I was so shocked to find out today about Laurie passing away. I hadn’t seen Laurie with her smiles when I shopped at Dollar General lately. Never thinking she was so sick. I’ll remember how much she helped At Mainesburg UMC during events for children. So helpful during vacation Bible school. She had such a quiet, gentle way of offering help. My prayers go out to her family.
