Obituary of Krista Lea Dunham

Krista Lea (Hockenberry) Dunham, age 35, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 26, 1985 in Wellsboro, a daughter of Michael Hockenberry and Wanita Applebee. Krista was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed camping, singing, and writing poems. Her daughter, Alexa, was her main focus in life. Krista is survived by her parents, Michael (Sherry) Hockenberry of Wellsboro, and Wanita Applebee of Mansfield; a daughter, Alexa Paige Dunham of Wellsboro; a step son, Austin (Kelsie) Dunham of Wellsboro; a step daughter, Miranda (Trevor) Rawleigh of Corning; two sisters, Melissa (Therold) Davenport of Tioga, and Alisha (Jacob) Stidfole of Osceola; a half-brother, Michael Hockenberry of Wellsboro; a half-sister, Megan Hockenberry of Wellsboro; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Charissa Hockenberry. Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. The funeral service will be private. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
