I taught music and Bible classes for one year at New Covenant Academy. Krista was in eight grade at the time. She always seemed to have a tough exterior, but as you got to know her, you could see her soft heart and gentle spirit. There were a few times that I would take her home after school and we would have the chance to have a good talk about life, family, and her dreams for the future. I have thought of her often through the years and the news of her passing just breaks my heart. I will be praying for all of her friends and family during this difficult time.

It says to upload a memory, but where would I even start. Every memory I have from my childhood it includes you, from dumpster diving for chips and being locked in by our oh so loving siblings. To playing in the crick or whistling at the road to see if we wanted to come out and play. We spent so much time together, we were not just neighbors and friends, we were family. Life has a funny way of moving people in and out of our lives, but we always remember the special ones that helped make us who we are today and I hope I am a better person for just knowing you. My heart bleeds for your family and I wish I could make it all just a bad dream. But God needed another Angel so he called you home. The world will be a truly lonely place without you Darlin. Fly high Short Stuff . I'll always love you too the moon and back

So sorry for the families. My condolences to you all. I remember all those girls most of their lives. I can't imagine how I could live losing a child that young. Prayers for you all. May God wrap his arms around you all. Heaven has a new Angel.
