Obituary of Christy Ann Mitchell

Christy Ann Mitchell, age 29, of Greentown, PA passed away unexpectedly in Wellsboro, PA on Friday, March 29, 2019. She was born on October 6, 1989, a daughter of L. Wayne and Cheryl (Plummer) Mitchell of Greentown, PA. Christy was a secretary for a doctor's office in Galeton, PA. She had worked at the Burning Barrel in Ansonia. Christy is survived by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law Matthew (Cathy) Mitchell of Old Forge, PA; a sister and brother-in-law Sheena (Wilhelm) Luke of Green Coast Springs, FL; nieces and nephews Delilah, Evan, Grant, Remy, Jackson and Orion; her boyfriend Jesse Smithgall of Wellsboro; and a special friend Kelly Simmons of Wellsboro. A memorial service to celebrate Christy's life will be held at noon on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Tioga County Fairgrounds in Whitneyville, PA. Burial will take place in Greensprings Natural Cemetery Preserve, 293 Irish Hill Rd, Newfield, NY 14867.
