Obituary of Jordan Johnston
Jordan David Johnston, age 32, of Columbia Cross Rds., at peace after years of battling the disease of addiction on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Harrisburg, PA. He was born on March 3, 1986 in Sayre, PA, the son of David E. and Judy G. (Chamberlain) Johnston. Jordan was a graduate of Troy High and worked as a roofer in Harrisburg. He loved his family and many special friends and was especially great with kids. A true free spirit forever young at heart. He loved hiking,boating , knee boarding, music, making hemp jewelry & taking ANYTHING white and tye-dying it, which he then vended at many local & state wide festivals. Jordan is survived by his parents; a maternal grandmother, Carroll Passeri of Gillett, PA; a paternal grandmother, Frances Chopak of Troy, PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jordan was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Gale and Sandra Chamberlain; grandfather, Anthony Passeri; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Norma Johnston; paternal grandfather, Michael Chopak; two cousins, Angela DeLosa and Kasey Wandell.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 6pm at Chamberlain Cemetery, Baptist Hill/Wolfe Hollow Rd., Columbia Cross Rds., PA 16914. A bonfire celebration of Jordan's life for all family and friends will be held at the home of David & Judy Johnston, 1053 Burleigh Hill Rd Columbia Cross Roads Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 7pm.
