Dear Cindy,Gwen and John, I was sorry to read about the passing of your Dad. I am your Dad's cousin,Jane.Your Grandmother White and my Mother Lottie Peffley Smith were sisters.THey were very close.Your Dad was six years older than I am. He was was my Algebra tutor. I attended your Dad's LVC graduation as a high school sophomore. He encouraged me to attend college. Your Dad was the first in our family to graduate from college.
