Obituary of James H. Leonard
James H. "Jimbo" Leonard, age 56, of Blossburg, PA, died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born April 20, 1957 in Elmira, NY, a son of Ralph and Velma (Burguess) Leonard. James was the husband of Sandra (Tripp) Leonard. He worked at TruckLite in Wellsboro, PA; belonged to a Mansfield Bowling League; was a Buffalo Bills fan and a Jeff Gordon fan. Jimbo enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid sportsman.
Jimbo is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son, Nicholas Leonard of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mark Dayton of Williamsport, PA; 3 grandchildren, Sky, Levi and Warren Dayton; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Ralph Leonard of Horseheads, NY and Ronald and Kathy Leonard of Horseheads, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Rick Benson of Troy, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will be in Welsh Settlement Cemetery.
