Obituary of Dennis Lloyd Clemens
Dennis "Denny" L. Clemens, age 70, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his home. Born on July 2, 1943 in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of Lawrence and Grace (Sumner) Clemens. Prior to his retirement, Denny was employed as a truck driver with Taynton Trucking Company and B & D Transfer. He served with the National Guard for six years. Dennis was a member of the Wellsboro Veterans Club and enjoyed motorcycle riding and Karaoke.
Denny is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda Rowden of Stillwater, OK, Lana and Stu Mays of Covington, PA, Christina and Christopher Gehman of Wellsboro, PA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Kathleen Clemens, Jr. of Whitehall, PA, Christopher and Paula Clemens of Wellsboro, PA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Sandy Clemens of Wellsboro, PA, Rockne and Gerry Clemens of Wellsboro, PA; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Denny was predeceased by a brother, Larry Clemens.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following calling hours at 3:00 PM at the funeral chapel with Rev. Laverne E. Holliday officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Denny's memory to the Wellsboro Veterans Club, 465 Kelsey Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
