Obituary of Gale A. Low

Gale A. Low, age 88, of Galeton, PA, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Gale was born November 3, 1924 in Elk Twp., Tioga County, PA, a son of Jay and Gladys (Fritchel) Low. He was predeceased by his wife, Marvene A. (Grabb) Low. Gale retired from Corning Glass in Wellsboro, PA. He was a member of the Galeton V.F.W. and enjoyed gardening, and mowing. Gale loved his animals. He was a Korean War and WWII Army/Air Force veteran. Gale is survived by 4 daughters, Sharon E. Stone of Galeton, Vicki L. Cobb of Martinsville, Indiana, Cherri and Shelley; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gene and Jimmy; 4 sisters, Edna, Pat, Ethel and Pearl. He was predeceased by 4 siblings, Ray, David, Velma and Earl. There will be a private burial at West Hill Cemetery, Galeton, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
