Obituary of Rosemarie E. Lahr

Rosemarie E. Lahr, age 77, of Tioga, PA, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1936 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Charles Gurdon and Elsie M. (Carlson) Cummings. Rosemarie was the wife of Donald W. Lahr, Sr. She graduated from the Tioga School and worked in Quality Control at Corning Glass. Rosemarie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tioga, PA; the Local 1000 and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, photography and her flower gardens. Rosemarie is survived by her husband, Donald; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Ted "Chuck" Bolt of Corning, NY, Randy and Lorraine Bolt of Tioga, PA, Ed and Paula Bolt of Tioga, PA; a step-son, Donald W. Lahr, Jr. of Kutztown, PA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Gary Gee of Gillett, PA, Jeannette and Dave Weidman of Ovid, NY, Debbie and Cliffton Mays of Mansfield, PA; a step-daughter, Cynthia Snyder of Nazareth, PA; 2 sisters, Patricia (Lee) Sutton of Custer, SD, Mary Wheeler of Elmira, NY; 20 grandchildren, Kristopher, Eric, Shane, Joshua and Tiffany Bolt, Allan and Leonard VanOrder, Lori Rodgers, Emily and Melissa Gee, Allison Bolt Potter, Jillane Bolt Michewicz, Nathan, Nicholas and Neil Weidman, Jessica Mays Brown, Miranda Brion Smith, Skipper, Cristy and Renae Mays; 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 grandsons, Eddie Bolt, and Stanley VanOrder. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Tioga, PA. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Steven Neff officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Church St., Tioga, PA 16946.
