Obituary of Cody Allen Jenkins

Cody Allen Jenkins, age 22, of Mansfield, PA, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 14, 2013. Cody was born May 27, 1991 in Elmira, NY, a son of Gary and Pamela (Dyer) Jenkins. He was a 2010 graduate of Mansfield High School where he was a member of the soccer team, ski club, chorus, and Future Business Leaders of America. Cody enjoyed four wheeling, snowboarding, playing soccer, photography, and Sporting Clays. Cody was a member of the Lambs Creek Sporting Clays Team and a member of the former New Hope Baptist Church of Mansfield. Cody is survived by his parents, Gary and Pamela Jenkins of Mansfield, PA; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Janet Smith of Bloomville, NY, Billy and Heather Smith of Bloomville, NY, Corey and Jenna Jenkins of Mansfield, PA; maternal grandfather, Robert J. Dyer, Sr. of Mansfield, PA; paternal grandfather, Stuart C. Jenkins of Mansfield, PA; grandfather, Robert C. Wittko, Sr.; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Lorraine (Rought) Jenkins and his maternal grandmother, Janet E. (Mead) Wittko. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Park officiating. Burial will follow.
