Obituary of Florence A. Benson

Florence A. Benson age 82 of Millerton, PA, died on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Bradford County Manor. She was a resident of the Bakercrest Home For The Elderly for 18 years. Florence was born on July 27, 1925 in Rutland Twp. Tioga, Co., she was a daughter of Ashford W. and Lucy B. (McConnell) Benson. She enjoyed spending time at the Mansfield Senior Center. Florence is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Leland Lee and Helen Benson of Montoursville, PA, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends Beverly and Barbara. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and a sister; Ottis, Rosie, Raymond, Lewis, Lester, Wilbur and Gordon. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 1 to 2 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery.
