Obituary of Sandra J. Chamberlain Wood

Sandra J. "Sandy" Chamberlain Wood, age 69, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, died on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 4, 1944 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of William E. and Gertrude (Clark) Kenyon. Sandy was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, mowing grass and caring for her four dogs. Sandy is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Beth Chamberlain of Columbia Crossroads, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Kevin Comfort of Millerton, PA, Lori and John DeWitt of Elizabethtown, KY; two step sons, Mike and Joe Chamberlain; one step daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Dave Johnston; one brother, William Kenyon of Wellsboro, PA; one sister, Phyllis Price of Millerton, PA; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her companion, Jim Wood; several nieces and nephews, and her four dogs. She was predeceased by her husband, Gale Chamberlain and her dog, Cricket. Private services will be held by the family. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
