Obituary of Joanna Marie Goodwin

Joanna Marie Goodwin, age 68, of Wellsboro, PA, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her home. She was born May 11, 1945 in Charleston Twp., a daughter of Earl and Phyllis (White) Dean. Joanna and husband, Gerald "Jerry" B. Goodwin enjoyed 49 years of marriage. She had worked in the fabric department at WalMart, Ames, and the Wellsboro 5 & 10 Cent Store. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsboro. Joanna enjoyed crocheting, talking with friends and family by phone and computer, and spending time with her great grandchildren. Joanna is survived by her husband, Jerry; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Cindy Goodwin of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Jerry Cochenour of Wellsboro, PA; 4 grandchildren, Joshua and Jennifer Cochenour, Sarah Cochenour, Nikki and Zach Rogers and Timi Martin; 3 great grandchildren, Kayden Rogers, Dylon Rogers and Emily Cherwinski; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pat Dean of Wellsboro, PA; a sister, Cathy Horning and her friend, Keith Tinsley, of Westfield, PA; special friends, Larry and Tonya McCloud of Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother and sister, Thomas and Sandy Dean. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 53 West Avenue, Wellsboro, PA 16901. Burial will be in Catlin Hollow Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
