Obituary of Nelson L. Newcomb

"Lynn" Newcomb, age 58, of Tioga, PA, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Lynn was born July 13, 1954 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Nelson E. and Caroline (Lind) Newcomb. He was married to his loving wife, "Sis" (Hopper) Newcomb. He was a loving family man and friend of many. Lynn was member of F&AM Tioga Lodge 373, Tioga, PA. Lynn was a wonderful husband, son, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Lynn is survived by his wife, Sis, of Tioga, PA; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Joshua Lynn and Sheena Newcomb of Kansas, Jason David Newcomb of Tioga, PA; 6 grandchildren, Kevin, Trever and Zackary Newcomb, Joey, Gabbie and Emma Walter; his mother, Caroline Newcomb; sisters-in-law, April (Steve) Greenwalt, Tammy Hughes and Misty (John) Vetter; his mother-in-law, Judy Baker, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Nelson Newcomb. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:30 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
