Obituary of Larry A. Frost
Larry Frost, age 73, of Little Marsh, PA, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. He was born January 23, 1940 in Covington Twp., a son of A. Lawrence and Louise (Griffin) Frost. He was married to Luanne (Avery) Frost and would have celebrated 42 years of marriage in June. He was employed by North Penn Gas Co. and Penn Fuel from 1966 to 2000. He was a member of the Covington Church of Christ, the NRA, and a past member of the Wellsboro Loyal Order of the Moose. Larry enjoyed shooting trap, hunting, riding and showing horses, and his animals.
Larry is survived by his wife, Luanne; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Barb Frost of Tioga, PA, Ronald Frost and companion, Vadra, of Bluffton, SC; four grandchildren, Ronald J. (Amanda) Frost, Scott Frost, Ashley Frost and her companion, Ryan, all of AZ, and special grandson, Matthew of Tioga, PA; five great-grandchildren all of AZ; a brother, Dale G. (Sharon) Frost of Thomasville, NC; nephews, Steve and Jennifer, Scott and Tonya of Thomasville, NC; and many family members on his wife?s side. He was predeceased by a son, Larry P. Frost in 2009, and his dog, Lucky.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from noon until 1:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Darwin ?Tink? Cranmer officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry?s memory to Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Rt. 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
