Obituary of Charles Cyrus Murray

Charles Cyrus Murray, age 80, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at his home. He was born February 8, 1933 in Pottstown, PA, a son of Adnirum and Ethel (Snyder) Murray. Charles was married to his wife of 60 years, Mary (Moyer) Murray. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Covington United Methodist Church. Charles enjoyed hunting, going on hunting trips, and taught horseback riding to children. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary of Covington, PA; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, David Murray of Newtown Square, PA, Timothy (Cathy) Murray of Mansfield, PA and Robert (Carrie) Murray of Douglasville, PA; a daughter Diana (Ed Lehmann) Murray, Boyertown, PA; 7 grandchildren, Erin, Halli, Harold, Colleen, Timothy, Michael and Kyle; 2 great grandchildren, Deacon and Gabriella; 2 brothers, Donald Murray and John (Linda) Murray both of Pottstown, PA; 3 sisters, Jane (Charles) Smith and Sara (William) Istenes both of Pottstown, PA; Phyllis Murray, OR. A memorial service for Charles will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Covington United Methodist Church, Main St., Covington, PA.
