Obituary of Leslie Albright Albor
Leslie ?Les? Albright Albor, age 53, of Covington, PA, died at his home Wednesday, April 24, 2013 after a heroic battle with Cancer surrounded by his loving family. Les was born November 29, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA a son of Leslie and Elizabeth (Johnson) Albright & Charles C. Albor. He and his wife, Wendy (Smith) Albor, celebrated 29 years together. He was a Printing Specialist for Office Equipment Source; Owner of Executive Business Supply; employed as an Earth & Space Science Teacher in the Wellsboro and Southern Tioga Schools. Les graduated from LaSalle High School in 1978, Temple University in 1983, and Mansfield University in 1999. He was an avid motorcyclist and car guy. Les loved traveling, car racing, Corvettes and Porsches, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed mentoring and encouraging young people to reach their potential in life.
Les is survived by his wife, Wendy; a son, Patrick Albor of Elizabethtown, PA; mother-in-law, Meda Hilfiger; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Diane Albor of Hatfield, PA, Steven and Christine Albor of Jamison, PA, John and Nancy Albor of Harleysville, PA; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan Rabuck of Horsham, PA, Linda and John Burns of Eugene, Oregon; 9 nieces and 10 nephews; special friends: Bell Rose Johnson, Linda Albright, Larry Chaborek, Clarice Tice, Emily & Erin Hall, Dick Powlison, Howie O?Neil and the Members of the Endless Mountains HOG Chapter. Additional brothers and sisters-in-law, William & Cori Hilfiger of Covington, PA, Janet and Dan Watters of Wellsboro, PA, David and Janie Hilfiger of Covington, PA, Tom and Mary Hilfiger of Hornell, NY and Cindy & Ed Gamble of Wellsboro; 8 nephews and a niece, many more special aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of his families. Les was predeceased by a son, Matthew Albor in 1991, grandmother, Ida Albor in 1991, a sister, Debbie Albor-Gonzalez in 2009, a brother-in-law, George Rabuck in 2006, and his father-in-law, Lewis Hilfiger in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Blossburg United Methodist Church, 108 N. Williamson Rd., Blossburg, PA at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Michele Sommerville officiating.
