Obituary of Denis Alan Button
Denis Alan Button, age 49, of Tioga, PA, died on Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born on August 9, 1963 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Helen Heitzenrater. Denis is survived by his wife, Collette (Lewis) Button.
Denis was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Tioga. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, especially Ernhardt and Harvick and football. He was an avid Cowboy's fan.
In addition to his wife, Collette, Denis is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Yvette Button of Osceola, PA; his stepfather, Hank Shutt, of Lawrenceville, PA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Harvey Lewis, Jr. of Troupsburg, NY; three brothers-in-law, Randy (Joan) Lewis of Troupsburg, NY, Steve (Sue) Lewis of Rochester, NY, Harvey (Sarah) Lewis, III of Rochester, NY; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Ted) Mattison of Troupsburg, NY, Lori (Jack) Dempsey of Troupsburg, NY and Angel (Raul) Estela of Rochester, NY. Denis was predeceased by a brother, David Button in 1980 and a brother-in-law, Lee Lewis in 2009.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 6 Broad St., Tioga, PA. A memorial service will be held at the church immediately following calling hours at 4:00 PM with Pastor Debbie Button officiating.
