Obituary of Neil L. Krause

Neil L. Krause, Jr., age 73, of Covington, PA, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Born on March 23, 1939 in Blossburg, PA, he was the son of Neil and Mabel (Stradley) Krause of Blossburg, PA. Neil is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Ogden) Krause. Prior to his retirement, Neil was employed for 47 years in the Shipping and Receiving Department with Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg, PA. He was a member of the Hillside Rod & Gun Club, a lifetime member of the Blossburg Fire and Ambulance Association where he was one of the first two EMT's in Blossburg. Neil enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, Dorothy and his mother, Mabel, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Casey Krause of Canton, PA, Scott Krause of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzie and Jeff Runyan of Freeville, NY; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Mary Ann Krause of Rochester, NY, William and Judy Krause of Blossburg, PA, and a sister-in-law, Alice Krause of Hemlock, NY. Neil was predeceased by his father, Neil; two brothers, Edgar and Kenneth Krause; a son, Jeffrey Lynn Krause and a grandson, Micheal Krause. In keeping with Neil's wishes, there will be no services.
