Obituary of Helen W. Wrisley

Helen W. Wrisley, age 93, formerly of Fassett, PA and Coryland, PA, went to meet her Lord and Master Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Bradford County Manor, W. Burlington, PA. Helen was born March 4, 1919 in Troy, PA, a daughter of Guy B. and Lottie B. (Ellis) Woleslagle. She was married 59 years to her late husband, Elwyn G. Wrisley, who died in 2001. Helen was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She worked at Beechys Greenhouse a short time and at Rosenbalms doing alterations. Helen was a member of the Baptist Church serving on many committees; a Sunday School Teacher in the Troy Baptist Church; served on A.B.W., and held many offices in the church. She was a member and held offices in the Grange, and most recently was a member of the Coryland Church. Helen is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale E. and Linda Wrisley of Hot Springs, AR, David A. and Debbie Wrisley of Grahm, TX; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Donald Grabowski of Tioga, PA, Geraldine and Barry Saunders of Canton, PA; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a sister, Doris Haven of Troy, PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Elwyn; two brothers, Albert and Ellis Woleslagle; two sisters, Sarah Shaffer and Mary Ella Lyons; 1 great grandson. A memorial service will be held at the Fassett Baptist Church on January 26 th at 11 AM.
