Obituary of Carol Jeanne Dalton
Carol Jeanne Dalton, Mansfield, PA, was born December 25, 1933 in Danville, PA, and died January 5, 2013 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of Cameron and Mildred Bausch of Danville, PA.
On July 5, 1952 she married Robert E. Dalton, her husband of 60 years, who survives. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother of five children: Robert E. Dalton, Jr. (Cindy), Wellsboro, PA; Mark L. Dalton (Debbie), Mansfield, PA; Karen J. Russel (David), Mansfield, PA; Eileen M. Droleski (Gerald), Elmira, NY; Mary Kay Kelly (Michael), Hanover, PA. There are thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Cameron F. Bausch (Judy) of State College, PA.
Carol was an excellent musician. She shared her talents by service as the music director and organist at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Blossburg, PA for more than twenty five years.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. At 8:00 P.M. there will be a recitation of the Rosary. There will be visitation on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the funeral chapel with transitional prayers at 9:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Child Catholic Church, 245 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Rev. John J.
