Obituary of Robert D. Courter

Robert D. Courter, age 83, of Mainesburg, PA, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Bradford County Manor, West Burlington, Twp., PA. Robert was born April 23, 1929 in Wyckoff, NJ, a son of Daniel Everett and Christine (Titus) Courter. Robert was the husband of Esther (Howard) Courter. He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Robert was a member of the Grace Methodist Church in NJ and the Allendale Rod and Gun Club in NJ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and baseball. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran. Robert is survived by his wife, Esther; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Gina Courter of Vernon, NJ, Stephen and Janice Courter of Milford, NY; a daughter and son-in-law, April and Tim ODonnell of Westfield, IN; 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Devinn, Tyler, Brittany, Mariah, Jaclyn, and Luke; a step-grandson, Chaz; 1 great grandson, Jaxon; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Carol Courter of VA; a sister, Joan Mitchell of Haskel, NJ. He was predeceased by a sister, Marge Tatro. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
