Obituary of Lewis Nagy
Lewis Nagy, age 87, of Middlebury Center, PA, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Carleton Senior Care, Wellsboro, PA. Lewis was born November 2, 1925 in Westmoreland County, PA, a son of John and Helen (Vargo) Nagy. He was the husband of the late Wilma (Fuller) Nagy who died on March 16, 2008. Lewis worked for the railroad for many years prior to working for Corning Glass.
Lewis is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Phillip and Brenda Nagy of Middlebury Center, PA, Gregory (Roberta Hess) Nagy of Wellsboro, PA; one daughter and a son-in-law, Kathy and Butch Davis of Osceola, PA; 19 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Judy Nagy of Middlebury Center, PA. Lewis was predeceased by his wife, Wilma, a son, James Nagy; a daughter, Linda Black; three brothers, John, George and Joe Nagy; two sisters, Anna Mae Schneider and Rose Nagy and a granddaughter, Terri Poole.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lawrenceville Fire Hall, Lawrenceville, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
