Obituary of George Raymond Molloy
George Raymond Molloy, age 85, of Liberty, PA, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on July 8, 1927 in Linneus, MO, he was the son of John and Emogene (Hess) Molloy.
Prior to his retirement, George was self employed as a machinist and a locksmith. He was a member of the North American Fishing Club, Lodge #202 of the Charleston, WV Elks Club and a life member of Post 945 of the American Legion. George served as a sergeant in the US Air Force during World War II.
George is survived by three daughters, Debbie Roche, Linda Young, Kathy Madin, all of CA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jefferson and Margaret Molloy of Carbondale, KS, Francis and Charlotte Molloy of Davenport, IA; one sister, Nola Cox of Linden, KS and his loving companion of 24 years, Laura Whiting of Liberty, PA. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria, a brother, John, and a sister, Rosedene.
