Obituary of Owen F. Mitchell

Owen F. Mitchell, age 64, of Millerton, PA, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 21, 1948 in Pottstown, PA, a son of William Herbert and Anna Mary (Heston) Mitchell. Owen owned a farm in Jackson Twp., PA. He was a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church and enjoyed horses, dogs and hunting. Owen is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Seth and Amber Mitchell of Millerton, PA, Ian and Danielle Mitchell of Wellsburg, NY; two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and David Grafe of Kutztown, PA, Amanda and Brandon Reed of Corning, NY; five grandchildren, Adrienne, Ryan, Bella, Devon and Kaylee; a brother, George and Mae Mitchell of Pottstown, PA; a sister, Shirley (Walt Vandermark) Swavely of Gillett, PA. He was predeceased by a brother, Jesse Mitchell. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harold Burrell officiating.
