Obituary of William H. Richner
William H. Richner, age 62, of Wellsboro, PA, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born December 7, 1949 in Middletown, NY, a son of Milton and Virginia (Clauson) Richner. William was the owner of Richners Flooring. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, gardening, planting trees and flowers, bird watching and spending time at his camp. William was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
William is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Rebeccah Richner of Covington, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Anthony Scopa of Bridgewater, Mass; Wendi and George Carpenter of Gorham, Maine; former wife and mother of his children, Lezlie Taggart of Hackettstown, NJ; five grandchildren, Brooke, Marissa, Dylan, Wyatt and Nolan; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Allan and Linda Richner of Westfield, PA, Don Richner of NJ, Steve and Julan Richner of Pleasant Mount, PA, Pete Richner of PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jessie and Robert Libby of Hackettstown, NJ, Sue Foster of Bethlehem, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to Noon at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at the funeral chapel at Noon with Rev. Gerry Piper officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, N.E.
