Obituary of Anita Mane Butler

Anita Mane (Bliss) Butler, age 57, of Tioga, PA, died on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on September 7, 1955 in Blossburg, PA, she was the daughter of Russell Bliss and Sonya (Rathbun) Bliss Wheeler. Anita was employed as a bartender with the Pub in Tioga, PA. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. Anita is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jason Croft of Tioga, PA; four brothers, Randy Bliss of Texas, Gene Bliss of Lawrenceville, PA, Doug Bliss of Utah, Stuart Wheeler of Wellsboro, PA; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Russanne and Mike Naven of Canada, Pat and Jerry Simcoe of Lindley, NY, Sue Thompson of Nelson, PA, Anjanette Wheeler of Mansfield, PA and two grandsons, Blake Schneider and Izaiah Croft of Tioga, PA. Anita was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Lynn Butler on March 15, 2007, a brother, Greg Bliss in 2011, her father and stepmother, Russell and Leona Bliss and her mother, Sonya Wheeler. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 6:00 PM at the funeral chapel with Pastor Steven Neff officiating.
