Obituary of Geoffrey James Sargent

Geoffrey James Jeff Sargent, age 51, of Mansfield, PA, died on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on October 27, 1960 in Binghamton, NY, Jeff was the son of Frank Sargent, Jr. and Eleanor (Hine) Sargent. Jeff was self employed as a contractor. In recent years Jeff enjoyed working in his woodshop where he handcrafted many things for family and friends. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman at heart. Jeff was a skilled hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Jeff is survived by his mother, Eleanor Sargent of Mansfield, PA; a daughter, Megan Elizabeth Sargent of Tunkannock, PA; two brothers and sister-in-law, Frank Sargent, III and Barbara Sargent of Mansfield, PA, Kim Sargent of Blossburg, PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Mark Campbell of Morris Run, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Frank Sargent, Jr., and a brother, Dale Sargent in 1965. In keeping with Jeffs wishes, there will be no services.
