Obituary of Joshua D. Wilcox
Joshua D. Wilcox, age 25, of Lawrenceville, PA, went to be with his father after an accident Sunday, July 8, 2012. He was born December 22, 1986 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of David and Laura (Mosher) Wilcox. Joshua served his country in the National Guard during Operation Freedom in Afghanistan. He was employed by NAPA in Blossburg, PA. Joshua had planned to participate in the Demolition Derby at different county fairs. He enjoyed working on cars, model trains, jeeping, motorcycle riding the same activities as his dad.
Joshua is survived by a son, Isaac Wilcox of Mainesburg, PA; his mother, Laura Wilcox of Lawrenceville; a brother, Jason Wilcox of Lawrenceville, PA; a sister, Jessica Wilcox of Lawrenceville, PA; paternal grandparents, Paul and Roberta Wilcox of Lawrenceville, PA; maternal grandmother, Elaine Mosher of Tioga, PA; special cousin, Nathan Wilcox of Lawrenceville, PA. He was predeceased by his father, David Wilcox in 2006 and his maternal grandfather, Willis Mosher.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be on Saturday immediately following calling hours at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor John Bagg officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Citizens National Bank, Educational Fund for Isaac Wilcox, 15 S.
