Obituary of Thomas M. Roberts

Thomas M. Roberts, age 79, of Lawrenceville, PA, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Thomas was born December 25, 1932 in Sweet Valley, PA a son of Ferris and Geneva (Sherman) Roberts. He was the husband of the late Joyce (McKeel) Roberts. He was a heavy equipment operator several years for Central Penn Construction, Hazelton, PA, worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, and JAR services. Thomas was a member of the N.R.A., retired Deputy Game Protector, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved dogs. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Thomas is survived by a son, Duane Roberts of Tioga, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Ferris and Janet Roberts of Watsontown, PA. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (McKeel) Roberts on September 23, 2007, and a son, David Roberts on November 4, 2008. In keeping with Thomass wishes, there will be no services.
