Obituary of Viola V. Simerson

Viola V. Simerson (Mattison), age 88, of Wellsboro, PA, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Viola was born June 2, 1924 in Ovid, NY, a daughter of Francis and Esther Bell (Davis) Vargason. She was the widow of Lloyd Simerson. Viola worked at Westinghouse before she retired. She enjoyed rides in the car with her son. Viola is survived by a son, Wayne F. Mattison of Corning, NY; a daughter, Esther Whalen of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren, Michael Whalen, April Breeden and Nichelle Whalen; 1 great grandson, John Thomas Breeden; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Jessie and Albert, and 2 sisters, Josephine and Eva. In keeping with Viola wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
