Obituary of Pauline E. Jacobs
Pauline E. Jacobs, age 86, of Wellsboro, PA, and formerly of Bristol, PA, died on Monday, May 14, 2012 in The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Pauline was born on February 14, 1926 in Doylestown, PA, the daughter of Howard and Ethel (Worrell) DeHaven. Prior to her retirement, Pauline was employed with the 3M Company and the Fraternal Order of the Eagle. She was a proud lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Pauline was an avid bowler and enjoyed dancing.
Pauline is survived by two sons, Steven Litten of Bristol, PA, John Litten of Oakford, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barb and Dennis DeWitt of Levittown, PA, Charlene and Ken Creamer of Mansfield, PA, Diana and George Bald of Latrobe, PA; one daughter-in-law, Pat Litten of Bristol, PA; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Earl Litten, her second husband, John C. Jacobs, a son, Earl Litten in 2008, a grandson, Billy Palmer, Jr.; three brothers, Howard, William and Robert DeHaven and her companion, Vincent Gutknect.
A private memorial service will be held at Wade Funeral Home in Bristol, PA on Friday, May 18, 2012. Memorial contributions may be made in Paulines memory to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
