Obituary of Christine L. Brooks

Christine L. (Zenkus) Brooks, age 37, of Tioga, PA, died Friday, May 11, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born January 18, 1975 in Wellsboro, PA a daughter of Joseph and Shirley (Hoover) Zenkus. She enjoyed spending time with her boys, long time friend, Chance; family and friends. Christine liked playing games and going camping. Christine is survived by her mother and step-father, Shirley and Lemoin Conrad; her fianc, Greg Weeks; two sons, Dakota and Brian Brooks of Tioga, PA; a step-daughter, Rachel Savino of Mansfield, PA; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith (Corrie) Hoover of Allentown, PA, Kevin (Linda) Heck of Tioga, PA, Mark (Tammy) Rodriquez of Elkland, PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pamela Dobak of Shamokin, PA, Michele (Dale) Gee of Watkins Glen, NY; 2 step-sisters, Deanna Jones of Mansfield, PA, Tina (Richard) Watkins of Picton, TX; maternal grandmother, Dolly Hoover of Johnstown, PA; mother-in-law, Edith Weeks of Middlebury Center, PA; Aunt Carol (Brian) Driscoll of Scranton, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Christine was predeceased by her father, Joseph J. Zenkus, Jr., grandparents, Joseph J. Zenkus, Sr., Stella Zenkus and Walter K. Hoover. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel And Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Steven Neff officiating.
