Obituary of Helen Staron
Helen Gram (Wilczynski) Staron, age 93, of Blossburg, PA, died on Thursday, December 21, 2006 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Helen was born on August 7, 1913 in Forrest City, PA, a daughter of Paul and Agatha (Zabega) Wilczynski.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Blossburg, PA. She enjoyed her family and loved reading and playing Bingo.
Helen is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph and Lee Staron of Arnot, PA, Edward and Dori Staron of Mansfield, PA, Paul Staron of Williamsport, PA, one daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Kenneth Simpson of Mansfield, PA, eight grandchildren; Kim (Stan) Craig of San Mateo, CA, Wayne (Joan) Staron of Liberty, PA, John Staron of Mainesburg, PA, Scott (Deborah) Staron of Springfield, VA, Rick (Natalie) Staron of Kingston, PA, Christopher (Christine) Staron of Sanford, NC, Suzanne (Rick) Case and David Simpson of Mansfield, PA, ten great grandchildren; Jennifer, Sheldon and Skyler Staron, Kyle and Julia Staron, Chase & Rebecca Staron, Ashley and Erin Case, Sean Simpson, and one great great grandchild, Cooper Broughton. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Frank B. Staron.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, 138 St. Marys St., Blossburg, PA with The Rev. Albert Leonard as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Blossburg, PA. Memorial donations may be made in Helens name to the Blossburg Memorial Library, 307 Main St., Blossburg, PA, 16912 or The Green Home, Activities Dept., 37 Central Avenue, Wellsboro, PA 16901.The Jacquelyn A.
