Obituary of Jeffery Alan Hutcheson
Jeffery Alan Hutcheson, age 28, of Tioga, PA, died unexpectedly on May 1, 2012. Jeff was a good-natured, hard-working man that loved his family more than anything and had a special zeal for life. His favorite time of day was when he came home to see his childrens smiling faces.
Born on March 20, 1984 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of Carl and Cindy (Finch) Hutcheson of Millerton, PA. He is survived by his wife, Meagan (Stermer) Hutcheson of Tioga, PA; a 2 year old son, Levi Corbin Hutcheson and one daughter, 4 month old Alexis Keylee Hutcheson, both at home; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Melissa Hutcheson of Tioga, PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Todd Degarmo of Wellsburg, NY; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Hutcheson of Millerton, PA and maternal grandmother, Yvonne Finch of Arizona. Jeff was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Hildreth Hutcheson in 1984, maternal grandfather, Ivan Finch in 2007 and maternal cousin, Clint Williams in 2003.
Jeff was an avid motorcyclist, a passion he shared with his Dad, and one he introduced to his son on his second birthday. He was an award-winning dirt bike rider, claiming several first place wins between 1998-2008 and taking home over 20 awards. His wins include first place in the 2001 WYNOA Barbed Wire Hare Scramble and first place in the 2006 Hogback Hill Motocross 201cc+ Amateur Hare Scramble. In addition to motor bikes, he also loved mountain biking, and often carved his own trails through the mountains between Tioga and Mansfield with his wife.
Jeff was a proficient mechanic and enjoyed working in the garage with his Dad, brother and son. Jeff was creative through and through. He had an artistic eye and could do or create just about anything he put his mind to. Jeff found his niche in the workforce by spending his time outdoors. He enjoyed working in construction and took pride in building the Route 15 bridge in Tioga. After an injury, he changed careers and found new enjoyment in truck driving.
